Reaching our goal means we are on track to complete this phase of the project, including improved accessibility throughout the park, upgraded restrooms, enhancements to the community pavilion, and the new universally accessible kayak launch and parking area currently under construction.
There is still time remaining until August 6th and we have an exciting opportunity to do even more.

Investing in Community, Accessibility & Water Stewardship
Paddle Antrim, in partnership with the Village of Central Lake and Central Lake Lions, is launching an exciting initiative to revitalize the Central Lake waterfront—enhancing access, promoting stewardship, and deepening community connections to the Chain of Lakes Water Trail.
MEDC Matching Grant Program: This campaign runs from June 8 – August 6 (60 days) and is eligible for a matching grant through the MEDC’s Public Spaces Community Places program.
Important: We must raise $45,000 by August 6 to unlock the match—every dollar (up to $45,000) raised will be doubled if we reach our goal!
Why This Matters
The Chain of Lakes Water Trail is a vital natural asset connecting people, communities, and ecosystems. After years of planning and community input, this project will reflect what matters most:
