Our kids class is a great way to introduce your child to the sport of kayaking. Designed with fun and water safety as primary goals, we teach students through a variety of games and exploration. Our experienced, certified instructors teach basic strokes, directional control, how to get in and out of the kayak safely, and what to do when you capsize. Classes are taught in traditional youth sized sea kayaks.
Maximum student:teacher ratio is 4:1
Ages: 7-13
$40/person for two hours
This class is non-refundable.
There must be at least 4 students at least 10 days in advance to run the class. Maximum of 8 students.
Class includes instruction and all necessary equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Kids will always be wearing life jackets while on the water.
– Kids must be comfortable in the water with a life jacket on.
