DESCRIPTION:Register Today \nJoin local conservation professionals in Northwest Michigan to learn how you can contribute to our work while you are out paddling and playing on the water! You will learn how to identify and report invasive species while preventing their spread. All classes will include off-water and on-water instruction.  \nThis event will take place on July 25 from 6 – 8 PM in Kalkaska at Log Lake Boat Launch\, near Disc Golf Course \n 2475 Log Lake Rd\, Kalkaska \nSpecific paddle locations will be emailed to participants after registration. We look forward to seeing you out on the water! \nREQUIREMENTS: \n\nParticipants must bring a kayak/canoe/paddle board for the on-water events. \nPaddlers must always wear life jackets out on the water.\nAll paddlers must complete a paddling class waiver prior to participation. Waivers can be viewed and signed digitally here.\n\nEvent Organizers: \nPaddle Antrim\, CAKE CISMA\, and  Kalkaska Conservation District  \nNote: To protect our waters\, anytime you change waterways you should ALWAYS Clean\, Drain\, and Dry your boat and gear to prevent the spread of invasive species. Before joining us out on the water\, we ask that you Clean\, Drain\, Dry your boat and gear. To wash your own boat\, check out this link . We recently had New Zealand Mud Snails found in our waterways and hope everyone will do their part to protect our lakes/rivers.
