DESCRIPTION:Each year since 2006\, the Paddling Film Festival World Tour has showcased the very best paddling films from around the world. The time is quickly approaching again for this fun and motivating annual event\, showcasing the incredible realm of adventure paddle sports\, and breathtaking cinematography. Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation is excited to bring the World Tour Paddling Film Festival to Northern Michigan\, Thursday\, April 25\, 2024. \nFrom whitewater action to sea kayaking\, canoeing and paddleboarding\, the films take you around the globe\, exploring great places\, great challenges and people with great spirit. Each year the World Tour makes stops in more than 135 cities\, and this event will be the only one in Michigan. \nThe best place to view the year’s best paddling films is on a big screen surrounded by fellow paddlers. So\, kick off your 2024 paddling season by joining your friends at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center’s Howe Arena. There’s plenty of free parking near the entrance. Paddle Antrim will be serving beer for purchase. Additional snacks and beverages will be available for purchase as well.  \nGet your tickets now. Tell your friends and family.
