Paddle Antrim is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 2014. Our Board of Directors is comprised of local chambers of commerce and local businesses leaders dedicated to vibrant communities and celebrated waterways.
We are passionate about our waterways. Our mission is to use paddle sports as a means to educate the public about our precious water resources. We support investment in water trail infrastructure to increase public access to our waterways and believe that doing so will enhance the economic vitality of Northern Michigan.
We envision vibrant and flourishing communities connected by a well-developed universal access water trail. We envision community members and visitors actively enjoying our beautiful resources while knowing how to best protect these waterways while in and around them.
We value a strong local economy in Northern Michigan and support our local businesses and communities. We value stewardship of our waterways and protect them through on the ground projects and education. We value partnerships and act as a conduit to help provide important information about our resources to our communities and visitors. We value access to the waterways and promote the existing access points and work to improve them for universal access to all. We value celebrating our waterways and enjoy our water resources through paddling. We value our board members, staff, volunteers and friends in our communities and work to build stronger relationships to do great things.
